Painting - It's my favorite

As I mentioned before, I've recently moved my art stuff from the closet to the main floor in our tiny apartment. I've been painting for almost all of my life, but seriously, for close to 20 years. I thought I would pursue art in college and make a career out of it. But, then reconsidered after I realized how much my student loans would cost me for even going to college... to major in anything! I don't regret my decision. I still paint and it is something very personal and dear to me. I love painting for myself and love it even more when I paint for someone else. Recently, my sister asked me to paint letters to hang above my niece's crib. Side note: Nora Bridgett was born January 7. She is simply perfect!

My sister gave me a link to show me what idea she was thinking and colors of Nora's room, but gave me free range to produce my own masterpiece.  Here's the final.. I hope Nora grows up cherishing this and having it adorn her bedroom walls for many years.

 

And, I'm in process of working on my next. It's going to be for our bedroom. I'm excited to finish it!!
