DIY Birthday Project

I love celebrating birthdays! And, I love arts and crafts. So, most likely I will give a DIY birthday gift. For my friend, Kristen's birthday I tackled t-shirt bleaching. She loves t-shirts and she loves penguins. No brainer!

I heard all about this crafty project from my friend Kat and decided to take to Pinterest and sure enough there were several tutorials. I ended up going with this one... I used a Clorox bleach pen for whites. And, seriously, make sure you have the one that says FOR WHITES. I did not. I had this one....

....and after all my work saw NOTHING on the black shirt. I ran out and got the correct bleach pen

....and take 2 was a success.

Kristen loved it and I loved that. Happy friends make me feel all stellar and awesome inside! Now, what shall I do next?  xoxo
