I absolutely adore this band and have since 1997! I can't wait to see them for like the gazillionth time, at the end of May. In the meantime, this is the only record I've been playing at home. Thankfully, my husband is a huge trio fan as well and doesn't seem to mind.
The Wonder Years - Their new album, The Greatest Generation drops May 14. Here's a sneak peak - Dismantling Summer, 4th track on the upcoming album. They are playing a show at Bottom Lounge May 11 and I'm hoping to check it out. I've never seen these guys live and that needs to change!
Broadway Calls - I can't get enough. They get me through most work days! I am constantly checking their tour schedule in hopes that a Chicago date appears. So far, no such luck! Everything from these guys rocks my world. Check this video out.

They just wrapped up a US tour and painfully I didn't make it to their Chicago show. Ughhh... one of those days where everything was scheduled for the same time. I needed 5 of me to make it all happen. However, I'm convinced these guys will be coming back to Chicago and even playing, say the Metro one day!
I couldn't even finish this post without giving The Menzingers a mention. As anyone who knows me or reads this blog knows how evangelical I am about this band. I've mentioned them here and here and here and... ok, point received, right? Ha. I'll going to see them again, June 1 (day after the Trio show...I'm pretty convinced that weekend will be epic!)
