I missed out on Record Store Day, because I was celebrating my niece's first communion. Family is a good reason to miss out on anything, in my book! However, I cherish my records and take great pride in the collection I've built (and still building). So, to say there wasn't a small part of me that felt the "Oh, man what a bummer," would be a lie. However, I'm a mature 32 year old and got over it very quickly! On the train ride out to the suburbs, I did make a mental wish list of what I would look for, if I was able to go.
